...here we go again...one of my billers was told by our local Highmark Insr. Co. that there is a modifier that needs added to this code for additional payment.... does anyone have any infomation on this? ?? (modifier)??

I haven't heard of any modifier that needs to be used. We have never used one. I'm interested to see if anyone else has heard that.

You might want to check the carriers website under billing guidelines or procedure guidelines. They may have the modifier listed there.
