Hi everyone! If there is a trauma case, and a vascular surgeon performs a vessel repair alone and than assists in a bowel anastomosis, would the bowel anastomosis (with an 80 modifier) still be subject to the multiple procedure payment reduction?

Hi All: We have a provider that is stating we cannot use more than one MPPR indicator per claim. They are claiming that because we are taking the 20% ophthalmology reductions that we should not also take the 50% reduction on the 67028. I cannot find any rule or regulation that states that...
