    Wiki Lumpectomy with Savi Scout coding?

    If my doctor does a partial mastectomy and uses the savi probe to identify the savi reflector, would this be reported separately or considered bundled to main procedure since it is the approach? I am thinking of a comparison to 38900 when billed with 38525. Anyone have any thoughts???

    I'm confused about principal diagnosis for this encounter in which pt comes for refill of medication, s/p lumpectomy. I've read the admonitions not to give the patient what she no longer has, but if she's still under treatment for it...?? Provider's brief note below and dx code he chose...

    Wiki 19302 vs 19301 & 38525

    does anyone have documentation stating how sentinel node biopsies are to be billed? If the surgeon removes 3 lymph nodes because they're blue, via a seperate incision but during a lumpectomy procedure (The injection would be billed with either coding option) my physician wants to bill a 19301...
