Pediatric Coding Alert, Volume 13, Number 1,incorrectly listed the ICD-9 diagnosis codes for left and right lower quadrant abdominal pain. The correct diagnoses are 789.01 (Abdominal pain; right upper quadrant), 789.02 (... left upper quadrant), 789.03 (...right lower quadrant), and 789.04 (... left lower quadrant).
