Integrate these new otolaryngology bundles July 1 Forget fumbling through pages of edits on the CMS Web site -- use this quick key for easy access to the edits with the greatest impact on otolaryngology coding. Timeline: The National Correct Coding Initiative Version 10.2 is effective July 1 through Sept. 31. *Status indicator "0" means the procedure may never be unbundled, regardless of the circumstances. Status indicator "1" means the procedures may be unbundled using a modifier such as -59 (Distinct procedural service), but only when the circumstances merit using a modifier.
