The June 2002 Ophthalmology Coding Alert article "Use Eyelid Modifiers (-E1, -E2, -E3, -E4) for Three Procedures" should have stated that Medicare does not reimburse A4263 because it is considered part of the supply cost of 68761. However, you can continue to bill private payers for the punctal plug supply with either A4263 or 99070.
