Kickbacks Feature In Texas Fraud Case

A Houston home health agency owner is facing fraud charges. Rose Davies, owner of Pri Home Healthcare, allegedly paid recruiters and doctors to bill Medicare for home health services regardless of whether beneficiaries needed home health, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas. A federal grand jury returned an indictment in the case on March 1 and Davies appeared before a federal judge on March 10.
