Hospices interested in collaborating with physician practices on cancer patients’ care may want to stay alert to a new opportunity. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services “has released a Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications for a second cohort of participants in the Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM),” CMS says in a release. “CMS will make notable changes to the model, including extending the model by two years,” the agency adds. The 100-page RFA is at www.cms.gov/priorities/innovation/media/document/eom-rfa-2024. Model details are at www.cms.gov/priorities/innovation/innovation-models/enhancing-oncology-model.
