Don't Miss This Important August Deadline

Home health agencies in the Review Choice Demonstration states of North Carolina, Florida, and Ohio should pay attention as they transition to the next cycle of the payment model. All agencies in those three states must make their review option selections in the Aug. 1-Aug. 14 window. The former two states are going into Cycle 7, while Ohio will be entering Cycle 8. Reminder: When CMS extended RCD, it eliminated Choice 3: Minimal postpayment review with 25 percent payment reduction and renumbered the other choices (see HHHW by AAPC, Vol. XXXIII, No. 18).
