Obey Revalidation Date

If you got an extension on your Medicare enrollment revalidation deadline, don't assume it will last forever. "Many HHAs ... requested an extension from CGS," reports the HHH MAC. They need to make note of the new due date, because "time is running out," the MAC stresses. Agencies should return their revalidation information as soon as possible. Warning: "Remember, noncompliance with this Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services mandate will result in the discontinuation of Medicare payments to your home health agency," the MAC exclaims.
