Colorado Provider Sues Over Name

Just because you operate in a different geographic area doesn’t mean you can use another company’s name. So claims a lawsuit filed by one home health company against another. Lakewood, Colorado-based Acaria Inc. filed a lawsuit this week against Acaria Home Health, Acaria Palliative Care, and Fountain Hills Hospice, reports business news site BusinessDen.com. Acaria Inc. says it’s been using the name since 2005 in Colorado, while the other companies have been using it since 2017 in Arizona.
