Stephanie Storck

Stephanie Storck has over 30 years of experience in medical coding in general and urologic procedures and services. She is the former director of payment policy at the American Urological Association, where she was employed for 22 years. In this role, she collaborated with the American Medical Association (AMA) in the creation of CPT^® procedure/services codes and valuation of CPT^® codes through the AMA Relative-value Update Committee. She has worked with National Center for Health Statistics in the creation of ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and managed the AUA Coding Hotline for over 10 years. Storck also has extensive experience in auditing evaluation and management services and surgical coding. She currently works for a medical device company as their director of Strategic Health Policy and Payer Relations. Storck has participated in AUA coding seminars, annual coding updates, and Advocacy Brief, a number of urologic symposiums, and AAPC’s HEALTHCON. She serves as a contributing editor to AAPC’s specialty newsletter Urology Coding Alert.
