hello,
is there a rule of thumb for using fracture care codes? Ex: a fractured ankle, arm etc. I use a fracture care code but what about a finger/thumb.
I use an E/M code if they had fractured it 2-3 weeks ago and it is already healing but is there a rule of when to use a fracture care code vs E/M code.
