So, a resident only sees a patient in the ED. Attending signs off on visit note (not billable)
When the patient follows up in clinic, is the patient considered New or Established?
1. Attending reads resident note and signs off, therefore assuming the patient's care and Established?
2. Or, since the patient wasn't physically seen by the attending, they're considered New?
