Job Duties include, but not limited to:
· claims denials
· insurance A/R follow up
· working knowledge of insurance plans
· claims submission
· reviewing billing discrepancies
· insurance appeals
· Able to read and understand an EOB
· Verifying patient insurance eligibility
· corrected claims submission
· Experience with insurance portals including but not limited to Availity
· Experience with billing software - Athena preferred but not required
· Working knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes
· Ability to identify billing errors
· Proficient in computer skills
· Ability to work/train remotely
· Dependable, efficient speed internet
· High degree of attention to detail
· Self-motivated, ability to work independently
· Identifying and communicating trends in denials/rejections
· Maintain compliance with Federal, State and payer regulations
· Understand and adhere to HIPAA and PHI guidelines
· Ability and work area to allow effective completion of job duties in front of a computer work terminal for 8 hrs a day
· Full Time Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm CST
