The psychologists and social workers in our child psychology practice spend time collaborating with teachers, parents, pediatricians, school social workers, case workers, etc. via phone, email, zoom meetings without the patient or family present. How do we bill for this time?
If the psychologist meets with parents (remember, we are a child psychology practice) school social worker and inpatient facility therapist for discharge planning from that facility for 60 minutes via zoom - how does the psychologist bill this?
I'm new to this and I apologize if there is an obvious answer. These behavioral health providers are part of a private practice (professional) and not a primary care clinic or other medical facility, practice.
