Anyone doing PRP injections? How much do you charge? Do you get paid from insurance or do you do them all as self-pay? Thanks!!

I know this is an old post, have you billed any of these. My doctor wants to bill patients $500 self pay

We bill these.
The CPT is 0232T – Injection(s), platelet rich plasma, any site, including image guidance, harvesting and preparation when performed.
We have had success in getting Work Comp to pre-auth and pay for these the majority of the commercial payers consider it experimental/investigational and will not pay.
We bill $750.00 per injection.
