For those coders who bill for the interpretation only. How are you going to handle the requirement for reporting the actual POS of the interpretation, not the POS for the exam? I'll be more specific. What if the hospital is in MD, but the radiologist reads the x-ray at his home in WV? (Let's say it is a Medicare patient) Would you bill WV Medicare? What if the provider is not contracted with WV Medicare because he is not licensed in WV?
