Wiki pediatrician in hospital for check up of newborn

Hi all,
I want to ask you how would you code regular visit of pediatrician in hospital to see newborn for the 1st day for check up-well baby ,and next day visit well baby and discharge
any idea?
what code ?
I am working for ed and do not know what codes to use in that situations

I am confused. This is happening in the ED? If it is in the ED and you are coding for the ED, you would not code for a peds doctor to come in and see the patient. Maybe I read it wrong?

My friend MD asked me how to bill the situation like she came to the hospital evaluate the well newborn, next day same story and she disharge the baby
what code she shoud use
I told her 99460 but not sure
