I am looking for the appropriate ICD 10 code for a skin ulcer. The ulcer was full thickness down to granular tissues with no deep exposure to tendon muscle or bone. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Is that all the information they gave you? I'd say you need to query the provider. There are different codes for pressure ulcers vs other chronic ulcers and different codes for severity.

Sounds like fat layer exposed if what you stated in the first post was what was documented. however you do not state the location, the documentation must indicate where on the body the ulcer is.

I have the location; it was the fat layer exposed that I needed. I'm new to podiatry coding and to these forums. You gave me what I needed. Thanks, you were a great help!
