If patient is seen for the entire duration of the pregnancy, then you can bill 59400 or 59510 depending on the type of delivery. This typically includes 13 routine ob visits, delivery, and postpartum. Be sure to check with your payers as this can vary.

Some of our patients may have 7 or 8 visits but all the prenatal care is done at our facility and the same provider does the delivery and I was just wondering if the prenatal visits have to be a certain number for the global
