Hello All
Questions:
Per the cares Act, for an out of network provider the reimbursement rate should be 100% of the billed charges with no patient share of cost. Any suggestions on how to approach this on a mass scale for payers that are paying the incorrect rate as an OON provider?
Is there a timely filing limit for claims submission for covid related services during the Public Health Emergency (currently ends 10/13/22)?
The Cares Act expired on 3/27/22 - for dates of service after the cares act expired can a patient now be balance billed for covid 19 testing? And is the Timely filing waiver still in place?
Thank you all.
