I am trying to find out if there are separate coding guidelines for coding behavioral health coding for RHC and Critical Access Hospital. We are being told there are separate guidelines but are not being given any documentation that states that. How we are being told to code these services contradicts what we are seeing in coding manuals and in the behavioral health coding course thru AAPC.
