Wiki 59515 Modifier

Patient changed insurance 2 months prior to delivery. I billed the antepartum visits and then billed the C Section and post partum visit with code 59515. The claim was denied by United Healthcare and when I called they stated that this code required a modifier Can anyone help me with which modifier is needed.

If they are asking for a modifier, it is probably because her UHC is a medicaid policy. It will require a U1 or U2 modifier to be paid.
