In this procedure, the provider places a catheter or introduces a chemical substance to an adhesion in the epidural space to remove the adhesion, in a procedure often referred to as a Racz catheter procedure or epidural neurolysis. The provider uses imaging to identify the site of the adhesions and the procedure occurs over more than one session on the same day.
