The provider incises all of the uterine, ovarian, and cervical connections through the laparoscope and removes the uterus, cervix, and fallopian tubes or ovaries (or both) via the trocar ports or through the vaginal canal. The uterus is larger than normal, usually due to the presence of fibroids, which means it weighs more than 250 g.
