Under imaging guidance and monitoring, the provider inserts a specially designed mechanochemical ablation (MOCA) device through a catheter placed through a separate access site in the skin (percutaneously) and destroys (ablates) the thin inner lining of the wall of the vein in an extremity to treat additional incompetent (varicose) vein(s).
