The provider repairs the descending thoracic aorta. He uses arteriography, which is a technique to visualize the inside of blood vessels. Then he places an endoprosthesis inside the blood vessels to repair an aneurysm, pseudoaneurysm, ulcer, intramural hematoma, or any traumatic disruption. This procedure also includes repair of the left subclavian artery origin. The provider may use a prosthesis to the level of celiac artery origin.
