In this procedure, the provider performs treatment of a tarsal bone fracture, except the talus and calcaneus, using screws and pins through the skin. Treatment includes manipulation, or adjustment, of the fractured bone. Tarsal bones are located in the midfoot and rearfoot area and are seven in number: talus, calcaneus, navicular, cuboid, medial cuneiform, intermediate cuneiform, and lateral cuneiform.
