Summary

The provider performs a sterilization procedure to prevent pregnancy by inserting a degradable biopolymer implant into both fallopian tubes. The implants cause disruption of the lining of the fallopian tubes and the ingrowth of cells, eventually blocking the fallopian tube and preventing pregnancy. The provider uses a hysteroscope to perform this procedure.
