Retinal polarization scanning is a type of visual screening test to detect retinal fixation; it is particularly useful for diagnosing strabismus and amblyopia (lazy eye) in patients whose eyes are not suitable for standard fixation testing and in uncooperative patients, such as infants and children. This code includes ocular screening of both eyes and on–site automated results.
