Mind Global Period With Voiding Trial

Question: If my physician performs a voiding trial and an office visit seven days after a transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), and he prescribes an antibiotic because of the voiding trial, does this constitute prescription management? Or would this service just be bundled in with the procedure? AAPC Forum Member Answer: A voiding trial, after removal of a catheter, and after a TURP and an office visit, would be included in the 90- day global of the TURP. So, you cannot separately report the voiding trial.
