There was a code error in the February 2012 issue of Urology Coding Alert in the "You Be the Coder" answer. Code 54405 (Insertion of multicomponent, inflatable penile prosthesis, including placement of pump, cylinders, and reservoir) is listed for the repositioning of the urinary sphincter instead of the correct code: 53445 (Insertion of inflatable urethral/bladder neck sphincter, including placement of pump, reservoir, and cuff).
