Question: Which codes should I report for inspiration and expiration views? I know the Radiology Coding Alert previously answered this, but I can't locate the issue.

Answer: You should report the inspiration view with 71010 (Radiologic examination, chest; single view, frontal). And report the expiration view with 71035 (Radiologic examination, chest, special views [e.g., lateral decubitus, Bucky studies]).
