However, a more in-depth glimpse into the broad array of coding changes reveals that there’s plenty of important material for coders of nearly every specialty to consider. Radiology coders are conditioned to expect a hefty influx of specialty-specific codes, and this year is no different. From brand new sets of embolism/thrombosis and phlebitis/thrombophlebitis codes to a massive installment of orbital fracture codes, there’s a whole lot to consider if you want to stay caught up as a radiology coder.
