In the June issue of Radiology Coding Alert, the level of supervision required for magnetic resonance imaging of the brain without contrast (70551) was incorrectly reported. According to CMS Transmittal B-01-28, the procedure represented by CPT code 70551 may be performed under general supervision. We apologize for the error.
