Clarifications:

 • The teleconference transcript included in the October issue of Radiology Coding Alert, "7 Surefire Strategies for Speedy Diagnostic Radiology Pay-Up," included information that whether you may code "consistent with" as a definitive diagnosis was up for debate. At the time the teleconference was presented, this was correct. Coding Clinic, third quarter 2005, recently stated that "consistent with" should be treated the same as "probable" or "suspected"--meaning it does not indicate a definitive diagnosis, says presenter Stacie L. Buck, RHIA, LHRM, VP of Southeast Radiology Management in Florida.

• On page 74 of the October issue, the first paragraph in the second column should end with this sentence: "The patient received 150 cc of contrast, so report 150 units (1 cc = 1 ml)."
