The November 2010 Radiology Coding Alert included a Reader Question titled "62268 Is Tarlov Cyst Aspiration Possibility." We have received comments indicating additional expert suggestions. Best bet: Before you submit a claim for the procedure in question, check with your physician to be sure the code you choose is an appropriate match to the service he performed, and verify the payer's preference.
