6 Easy Radiology Measures to Implement

Most specialties will be asked to submit six total measures including one outcome measure and one cross-cutting measure. However, these measures apply exclusively to patient-facing physicians. So, for radiology providers, two additional high priority measures can be used in their place:

  • #145: Exposure time reported for procedures using fluoroscopy (High Priority Measure) (Interventional Radiology)
  • #195: Stenosis Measurement in Carotid Imaging Reports
  • #225: Reminder System for Screening Mammograms (High Priority Measure)
  • #406: Appropriate Follow-up Imaging for Incidental Thyroid Nodules in Patients (High Priority Measure)
  • #405: Appropriate Follow-up Imaging for Incidental Abdominal Lesions (High Priority Measure)
  • #146: Inappropriate use of "probably benign" assessment category in mammography (High Priority Measure)
