Question: Can I get paid by Medicare carriers for 94760 with any E/M code? Maine Subscriber Answer: Generally, no -- it largely depends on your carrier. Code 94760 (Noninvasive ear or pulse oximetry for oxygen saturation; single determination) (also called "pulse ox") is a status T (bundled) code, according to the 2009 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. T codes are paid only if no other services are payable under the physician fee schedule billed on the same date by the same provider. Your best bet is to get your payer's agreement in writing.
