One of the most important services primary care providers (PCPs) can provide for their female patients is contraceptive counseling and planning. But knowing what kind of evaluation and management (E/M) service to bill for them can be very tricky, as you need to take context for the service into consideration before assigning the correct code.

Coding for injectable contraceptives and/or intrauterine devices (IUDs) is also a challenge. So, we put together this quiz to test your understanding of contraceptive coding.
