Washington, D.C. Subscriber

Answer: If you’re stumped by CERT updates and are searching for all the latest and greatest on the program, look no further than the helpful CERT C3HUB.

CMS created the CERT C3HUB in January 2021 “to provide Medicare providers, suppliers, and contractors with information about the Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) Program and to facilitate coordination, collaboration, and communications between all stakeholders,” the website says.

All the Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) link to the tool and some of the top features include:

  • Portal to submit documentation to CERT auditors
  • Option to check CERT chart status and update provider/ supplier information
  • Option to check individual status of claims pulled for review
  • Disaster and extraordinary circumstances guidance
  • Attestation and additional documentation request (ADR) sample letters
  • Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
  • Additional CMS guidance
  • Announcements and news related to the CERT program
