Time-Consuming A Costly Excuse

Question: Many experts suggest collecting insurance and verifying it before hand, but we're finding this project to be very time-consuming. It is really necessary? Tennessee Subscriber Answer: The excuse of "time-consuming" can become a pretty expensive excuse. You can argue that insurance information is ultimately the patient's responsibility, but patients may not necessarily respect physicians enough to provide honest answers, and you have to protect yourself. Plus, you don't want to spend more time with expensive court appearances.
