Expert: Pediatric practices might miss these new Dx codes.

There are several sets of ICD-10 code additions, deletions, and revisions that every practice will note as soon as the new edition of the diagnosis coding manual hits the shelves.

Remember, however, that even the most experienced coders might miss a couple of codes that ICD-10 presents each year.

To make sure you don’t overlook any potential diagnosis coding changes, Jan Blanchard, CPC, CPMA, pediatric solutions consultant at Vermont-based PCC,  gave us a list of “under the radar” code changes that might affect your pediatric practice next year.
