Make Sure Your Office Has An Emergency Policy Too

The misfortunes of West Texas Hospital should be a wake-up call for your physician office, says attorney Greg Piche with Holland Hart in Denver. -I suspect many physicians in their offices have a 911 policy and rely solely on that, but that course of action can be iffy at times,- he adds.
Ready? You should make sure your office has arrangements in place to handle emergency situations. -Do you have a paramedic group that you can get a hold of in a hurry?- Piche asks. Especially if your office deals with severely ill patients, you should be prepared.
