According to a new audit report entitled "Review of High-Dollar Payments for Outpatient Services Processed by Noridian Administrative Services," issued on May 3, auditors found that 77 of 104 highdollarpayments that the MAC made during the audit period were overpayments. The auditors reviewed claims billed between 2003 and 2005 for services resulting in payments of $50,000 or more.
