Transmittal 45 from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services includes pay boosts for six eye exam codes. Most codes will see a sharp increase in both facility and non-facility practice expense RVUs, plus a boost for the PE-RVUs when billed with the -TC modifier for "technical component."
