Physical performance tests no longer bundled If your physician regularly performs physical performance tests and bills CPT 97750 for them, it has just become a lot easier to receive payment for those tests with a range of therapeutic procedures.
The latest version of the National Correct Coding Initiative removes five edits that bundled 97750 as a component of 97110-97124. These codes cover therapeutic procedures to develop strength, range of motion and flexibility, plus neuromuscular re-education of movement, aquatic therapy, gait training, and massage.
In other words, as of Oct. 1, you can test physical performance and provide therapeutic exercises on the same day.
