The changes to CPT 2007 won't be announced until this fall, but the first hint came out with the tentative agenda for November's annual CPT and RBRVS symposium in Chicago.
The schedule includes sessions on Moh's surgery and destruction of lesions, imaging, spine surgery, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery and gynecology.
It also includes sessions on the controversial Medically Unbelievable Edits, Category II codes for performance measurement, the five-year review of the resource-based relative value system (RBRVS), and data modeling for CPT 2007.
