Carriers may have finally cleaned up their act when it comes to accepting drug administration code 90772 on the same date as an office visit. Part B carrier Noridian is telling providers that it will start covering 90772 and an office visit with the 25 modifier. It was denying the drug code previously. (See PBI, Vol. 7, No. 13.) Noridian will also perform "mass adjustments" on the claims it already denied, so you won't have to resubmit them, officials have told providers.
